When I visited Sabine and Peer, I liked their installation of cavy cages and runs: a total system built in their house, typical of their love and care for their animals.
This photos shows the biggest run which housed a group of sows.
Hi, friends, this is a special blog I made for a caviary. Unfortunately, this caviary does not exist any more, as it was stopped in 2009. Wuschelland was a caviary of Peruvians and Alpacas, managed by Sabine and Peer Mannheim. This blog is a small tribute to their work which has given so many nice cavies to this hobby: breeding purebred cavies. I also try to present how their work lives on in other caviaries. Any contributions (photos, letters, information, etc.) are welcome.
